ABT Sportsline Readying New Audi Models for 2011 Geneva Motor Show

VW Group specialist ABT Sportsline will bring several Audi models to the 2011 Geneva Motor Show in March, including the eye-catching R8 GTR with a chrome finish pictured above, as well as its newest tuning proposals for the A7 Sportback and 2012MY A6 sedan.

Alongside the R8 GT-R, A7 Sportback and A6, the German tuner will also be presenting a fourth model, which is being kept a secret for now. “We will be bringing along a sports car which I personally like a lot. For it shows our technical capabilities and offers a maximum level of driving enjoyment. I am looking forward to seeing how it is received by the public in Geneva," said the ABT general manager, Hans-Jürgen.

Audi Sportback Concept Revealed At Detroit Auto Show

If your heading out to the Detroit Auto show there is one concept that you must see and it is by Audi. It known as the Audi Sportback Concept and this very car hints to the future of Audi’s new A7 four-door saloon.
According to our source at Audi, the Sportback is in fact larger than the A6, and it is built on Audi's new modular longitudinal build kit (LBK), which is adjustable for length, width, and height depending on packaging needs. The same chassis setup will likely form the basis for future larger Audis, including the production version of the Sportback which is expected to be dubbed A7.

Audi A7 Concept Jump To Detroit Motor Show

Audi is getting set to premier its upcoming A7 four-door coupe in concept form at next month's Detroit Auto Show. According to The Detroit Free Press who spilled the (already open) can of beans, the highly anticipated model will join other brand debuts including the exotic R8 5.2 TFSI supercar, Q5 compact crossover, A6 sedan and sporty TTS.
