Hyundai had launched a new car named Equus. It includes in the category of the most luxurious cars BMW 7series , Mercedes S class etc. This is the most expensive car Hyundai had ever launched. The engineers of Hyundai had spent 3 years for obtaining this type of model. Around 33.7 crores had spent on the designing of this model.

Hyundai equus had got a diesel engine with 3.8 ltr V 6 engine with 290 bhp and also got a petrol engine with 4.6 ltr V 8 engine with 366bhp. Copared to other luxurious cars his Hyundai Equus had got lots and lots of differences. This Car is having a Rear wheel Drive. Also this had got a 6 speed automatic gear transmission.
Comfort
The company is offering a high comfort and travel comfort for this car as this car is equipped with 5 link air suspension. LED tail lamp, 17 speaker stereo, leather upholstery, front - rear reverse camera, 9 air bags , smart cruise control, pre safety systems are the other major advantages of Hyundai Equus.Also when the car is put on the drive mode the electric brakes willl automatically release. This is also one of the heavy technology done by hyundai.

Hyundai equus is coming with a price ranging between 22.18 lakhs to 36.97lakhs.
Now there is no smell of launching this car in india. Now this car is ehibited in the Newyork motorshow. It had now hit on the roads of Korea and by the end of the next year it will also hit on the Chineese roads also. We can expect this car to be launched in India by the year 2010.
